The Story Behind Pillars of Light

The Story Behind Pillars of Light

Pillars of Light™  started as a conversation.

At the time we were feeling what most of the world was feeling; loneliness and fear. As entrepreneurs, we are always looking to help others, asking ourselves “How can we solve this problem?” Well, Covid was a pretty big problem that we knew we couldn’t solve, but we knew there must be some way to make an impact, something we could do to brighten people’s lives at this moment.

The question of how we were going to spend time in lockdown arose and we thought ‘We could start a company, one that creates light in this dark world’, and then the question arose of how we could make a difference...if we were going to create a company, it was important to us to create something that had longevity and that would give back and impact the world in a beautiful way.

When you look around the world at what’s going on, with all of the struggles and challenges it can be overwhelming. We knew we knew we wanted and needed to make a true difference, and in doing so, create a product that had purpose. Through incredible people, we found GivePower, and we knew this was a way to fulfill our one-for-one model. In our partnership with GivePower, it is possible that one candle can give access to clean drinking water to someone for 5 years.

At Pillars of Light™, we believe in giving love through light. We create natural candles with simple ingredients, all wrapped up in a lovely vessel.

We invite you to join us in our mission to bring more love and light into the world, one candle at a time
